SWEAT Smart: Revolutionizing performance and Health monitoring in sport and defence

Sweat is known to detoxify our bodies and as a valuable biofluid it is the source of biomarkers. Nowadays only lab sensors can detect the concentration of certain biomarkers in drop of sweat, and our solution brings it into revolutionizing non-invasive monitoring embedded into wearable sensors for athletes and soldiers.

Monitoring of dehydration level and sport performance during training, stress level under military operation or just state of health of patient in real-time with high sensitivity. It brings enormous potential in sport management, disease screening or collecting health data for preventive medicine and smart healthcare.

The aggregated anonymized data will be used by artificial neural networks to predict future scenarios. Aim is to visualize data using augmented reality mode for interactive gamification engagement. Overall, wearable sweat sensors have the potential to revolutionize healthcare and sports.

Organized by the Association of Self-Governing Regions of Slovakia (SK8) on the start-up topic and how innovations discover the potential of regions. The partner of the event was VIAIA – Research and Innovation Authority of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.

INNOSENSIA was invited to participate at this relevant conference on building an innovative ecosystem in the regions. Maros, our CEO, was invited to be part of the panel discussion with the topic ‘Life of startups at the regional level” where he talked about the challenges start-ups face and how to overcome them.

Participants were representatives of highly regarded institutions in the field of research, healthcare and sport from the region: Technical University Kosice, Arcondis, University Spartacus Hockey Start-up, VUSCH (East Slovak Institute of Heart and Vascular Diseases), and others industrial partners.
